抗繆勒管激素（anti-müllerian hormone,amh）,又稱繆勒管抑制物（müllerianinhibiting substance，mis），由alfredjost教授在二十世紀四十年代發現。
成熟的激素是由二硫鍵連接兩個完全相同的72 kd單體形成的二聚體糖蛋白，屬于轉化生長因子βtransforming growth factor-β,tgf-β超家族。amh主要通過amh受體ⅱamhreceptor ⅱ,amhr ⅱ發揮生物學作用。
