蛋白精氨酸脫氨酶2（pad2）是一種胍基修飾酶，以鈣依賴的方式催化特定的精氨酸殘基轉化為瓜氨酸。這種酶已經(jīng)與一些疾病有關，包括類風濕性關節(jié)炎（ra）、視網(wǎng)膜變性和某些癌癥。pad2已被證明可改變波形蛋白、纖維蛋白原和β/γ-肌動蛋白。在吸煙者的肺部，pad2的細胞外水平增加，為吸煙作為ra的風險因素和ra患者的抗瓜氨酸蛋白抗體之間提供了聯(lián)系。
